Education/compliance training for Mortgage Professionals

National Homebuyers Fund, Inc. (NHF) provides training for mortgage professionals interested in participating in NHF administered loan programs. Training is provided by NHF on behalf of the program sponsor.

Training courses are available to lenders, brokers, and even real estate professionals, whether they are new to a program or looking for a refresher course. Training is provided in either an online format, herein called “Online Training”, or an in-person format, referred to as “Live Training”.

Experience has shown us that Program Training is essential to a program's success. Program terms/guidelines, eligibility criteria, pricing, amount or availability of funds, and origination steps will vary from one housing program to the next.

Our goal is to teach mortgage professionals to succeed, while also helping homebuyers achieve the dream. By taking advantage of our training courses, you can learn not only the guidelines for the individual program, but also the program's advantages and how to market it to homebuyers. View our Online Training Calendar for upcoming training sessions.

Online Training

  • NHF personnel provide Online Training seminars by request from or in conjunction with program servicer and/or sponsor.
  • Online Training seminars are approximately one hour in length and utilize a teleconference phone line and online WebEx training site to provide a convenient and interactive format for attendees. Enrollment spots may be limited, so registering ahead of time is highly recommended. Multiple sessions may be setup to accommodate the needs of larger companies.
  • Upon registering for an online class, the registrant will receive an auto-generated email confirmation. This email contains all of the information needed to log in to the training web site, including the event passcode. After the training course is completed, attendees will receive a copy of the material used in the training, such as a copy of the slide presentation, for reference only. All mortgage professionals are encouraged to visit the Program Index for current guidelines.
  • View our Online Training Calendar for a list of scheduled seminars.
  • Live Training

Depending on need and availability, NHF will also participate in Program Training seminars in person. If you are interested in providing a Live Training for your program or company, Contact Us.

In addition to the content covered in the online courses, Live Training provides an opportunity for relevant parties to participate in the seminar content. For example, it may be relevant and helpful to have a Mortgage Insurance (MI) provider on hand to discuss MI guidelines, scenarios and pricing in more detail. Or maybe a specific Lender is interested in co-hosting an event with the program sponsor or NHF for their broker network.
