Whether it is to administer your existing home loan program or to help you implement a new one, working with NHF can help you to increase productivity, save time and resources, and increase homeownership in the communities you serve.
NHF, jointly with it's affiliate housing finance authority CRHMFA Homebuyers Fund (CHF), has participated in the development, administration and issuance of MRB, MCC and Second Mortgage Programs, resulting in over $7.5 billion in mortgages on more than 54,700 properties.
Building on that experience, NHF now offers a variety of homeownership services to State and Local Housing Finance Agencies as well as other housing related organizations throughout the United States. Services include program administration, compliance and promotional services, from the initial setup and structuring of a program through its implementation.
NHF administers programs designed for low- to moderate-income families and individuals and first-time homebuyers, as well as other types of home loan programs. Services are customized to meet the specific needs of the program sponsor.
Administration Services
In its function as administrator for your MRB, MCC, or other Home Loan Program, NHF provides services including, but not limited to, the following:
- Assist in structuring of program guidelines, manuals, reference material and applicable forms
- Maintain online resource center for Participating Lenders
- Recruitment and setup of Participating Lenders
- Develop and conduct training and educational seminars for mortgage professionals (lenders, brokers, realtors, etc.)
- Develop and maintain Online Reservation System for issuing of commitments and tracking allotments
- Distribute daily pricing to Participating Lenders
- Provide accounting and administration reports
- Provide on-going communication and support to Participating Lenders regarding program and guideline changes, updates, etc. (i.e. issuing Lender Alerts in print and e-mail format)
- Develop and maintain marketing templates and guidelines for Participating Lenders promoting programs to homebuyers
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy requirements, including data encryption
- Perform pre- and post-loan compliance reviews as appropriate to the program

NHF performs pre- and post-compliance reviews including, but not limited to, the following:
- Income limits
- Purchase price limits
- Homebuyer/homeownership eligibility
- Assistance eligibility
- LTV/CLTV limits
- Pricing/Fees
- Applicable certifications/affidavits
